VNA Care Network & Hospice has a variety of volunteer opportunities. Hospice volunteers provide support to terminally ill patients and their families. Administrative volunteers help staff at local offices and can create their own opportunities based on their skills and interests.

HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS

Work directly with patients and their families by offering practical and emotional support to those facing a terminal illness. Opportunities are available in more than 200 Eastern and Central Massachusetts communities and in our hospice homes in Cambridge, Needham, and Worcester. Training, supervision, and support are provided.

For more information about hospice volunteer opportunities, contact the hospice volunteer coordinator in your area.

ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS

Administrative volunteers can assist staff at one of our offices or create their own opportunity based on their skills, interest, and time.

Local businesses have sent staff to work on one-day special projects, like landscaping at a hospice home, and photography students have taken pictures for our brochures.

Creative professionals and students are needed to assist our public relations staff with photography, web site design, and other projects to help raise awareness about home health care and hospice. To learn more, contact Deborah Corkum, public relations manager, at dcorkum@vnacarenetwork.org or 888-663-3688, ext. 1362.
