Chilton House Fall Celebration Tickets on Sale
Tickets are on sale now for the 10th Celebration of Chilton House on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, 113 Brattle St., Cambridge.
The celebration will support the capital campaign for renovations of Chilton House, the state's first hospice home for the terminally ill, as well as establish a patient care fund. The campaign has raised over 91 percent of the necessary $1.8 million.
The converted two-family residence has touched the lives of more than 2,000 people since it opened in Cambridge's Huron Village in 1991. Chilton House offers a homelike setting for terminally ill patients to live and receive hospice, a combination of physical, emotional, practical, and spiritual support. Loved ones also receive support, and care helps both patients and families focus on life.
The physical renewal of Chilton House will enhance and support the compassionate care that makes a profound difference to patients and families. Renovations are being undertaken with the goal of becoming the first hospice home in New England to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification in the homes category. The cocktail reception is presented by the Hospice of Cambridge Development Committee and VNA Care Network & Hospice, and generously sponsored by the Cambridge Trust Company. Karen Green, president and CEO of VNA Care Network & Hospice, Chris Chan of Chan Mock Architects, and Alex Silve of S&H Construction will give a special update on the renewal of Chilton House.

Individuals may sponsor the Chilton House Fall Celebration at the following levels:
- Angel at $1,200 (includes four tickets to the event)
- Benefactor at $1,000 (includes three tickets to the event)
- Friend at $500 (includes two tickets to the event)
- Sponsor at $100 (includes one ticket to the event)
