VNA Care Network has temporarily relocated Leominster staff and is assessing the full extent of the damage to its office at 305 Whitney St. after a fire on Friday, April 11, 2003.

The blaze was started after a car hit the building and broke a gas line. Firefighters from Leominster, Fitchburg, and Shirley were among those who responded to the emergency.

VNA Care Network lost laptop computers, medical equipment, forms, and many other items from the fire and water damage. However, patient care was not disrupted, and Leominster office staff are working at VNA Care Network's Worcester headquarters until the building is reopened.

Donations are greatly needed to help cover costs associated with the fire that are not covered by insurance. To make a gift, please see our donations page or contact the Development Office at giving@vnacarenetwork.org, 888-663-3688, ext. 1364, or 978-537-2322, ext. 1364.

VNA Care Network has provided home health care to Leominster area residents since 1919.
