VNA Care Network and affiliate VNA Care Hospice recently earned the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization's Gold Seal of Approval for demonstrating compliance with national standards for health care quality and safety.
"We're committed to providing the best possible care to our patients, and our voluntary participation in the Joint Commission accreditation process is just one of the many ways we ensure patients receive high quality care," said Barbara Brooks, VNA Care Network's vice president of clinical services.

Founded in 1951, the Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation's health care through voluntary accreditation. VNA Care Network and VNA Care Hospice received the accreditation award after the Joint Commission found that it had demonstrated compliance with the Joint Commission's national standards. The accreditation process included an on-site survey.
"In becoming accredited, VNA Care Network & VNA Care Hospice were evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission survey team experienced in the delivery of home health care and hospice services," said Maryanne Popovich, executive director of the Home Care Accreditation Program of the Joint Commission. "Achieving accreditation demonstrates VNA Care Network & Hospice's commitment to provide high quality and safe care to their patients."
