ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course Registration Due Sept. 27
VNA Care Network & Hospice will offer the two-day Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course for the seventh consecutive year this fall in Worcester.
Registration is due by Sept. 27 for this two-day course from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and 22 at VNA Care Network & Hospice, 120 South St., Worcester (directions). This in-depth program for registered nurses addresses the knowledge needed to administer chemotherapy whether in the hospital, clinic, or patient's home. Elizabeth Mena, RN, BS, CRNI, OCN, is the instructor for the course. She is a certified ONS trainer and also serves as VNA Care Network & Hospice's IV clinical services manager.
The registration fee is $240 and includes all course materials, Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendation for Practice (third edition), 13.5 continuing nursing education credits, and food and beverages.
