One in three adults over age 65 fall each year. Seniors can learn how to reduce their risk and be safe at home with VNA Care Network & Hospice's fall prevention programs.
This free series combines talks, screenings, and exercise to help seniors stay healthy. Participants may also be eligible to receive a free home safety assessment by a physical therapist. Talk to the nurse or physical therapist at a Fewer Falls, Safer Seniors session to learn more.

Overview of Fall Prevention: 11 a.m. to noon March 19. This talk covers personal fall risk factor identification, steps to reduce your risk, and development of individual fall prevention plans.
Exercise: 11 a.m. to noon March 26. Learn about exercises and other physical activity to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.

Safe at Home fall risk assessments are available in seniors' homes in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Referral Center staff will work with you and your physician to determine if a Safe at Home visit will be covered by Medicare or other health insurance.
