Free Osteoporosis Talks and Screenings for Seniors
Are you at risk for osteoporosis? Get the facts so you can protect yourself and remain healthy. A wellness nurse from VNA Care Network & Hospice will host these free talks and screenings for seniors age 60 and over. The talks and screenings are made possible by a grant from the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging with funds from Title III of the Older American's Act. Please check back for dates.
Talks and screenings are free. Confidential, voluntary donations are accepted and used to increase services provided under this program.
Upcoming Screenings
Bone density screenings for osteoporosis will be held at:
- Lancaster Senior Center, Community Center behind the Lancaster Library, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 22. Appointment required. Call the Lancaster COA at 978-733-1249.
- Leominster Council on Aging, 5 Pond St., Leominster, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 29. Appointment required. Call the Leominster COA at 978-534-7511.
