Multicultural Services

VNA Care Network & Hospice's Multicultural Services Program promotes cross-cultural communication, awareness, sensitivity, and understanding between and among health care professionals and the patients they serve.

In addition to an internal Cultural Resource Center for VNA Care Network & Hospice staff, the Multicultural Services Program offers the following services to other organizations:

• Culturally Competent Care: Communicating Across Cultural Boundaries Training Workshops
• Consultation Services
• Train the Trainer Institute
• Resources

CULTURAL DIVERSITY COUNCIL

The Multicultural Services Program receives guidance from the Cultural Diversity Council. Council members are African American, Asian Indian, Cambodian, Chilean, Chinese, Haitian, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Russian, Sudanese, and Vietnamese.
