Home Staff personal care aides are trained in the proper techniques for lifting someone from a bed to a chair, from the chair to standing, and the like. They are trained to assist an individual with personal hygiene tasks while maintaining the dignity of the client. They will also prepare nutritional meals sensitive to dietary restrictions.
