Home Health & Hospice Resources is a web-based service that gives home health and hospice agencies a flexible, cost-effective way to offer educational programs to practicing clinicians and support staff.

TRAINING MODULES

Our "Learning Online Anytime" modules include:

  • Home health orientation
  • Hospice orientation
  • Staff development
  • Continuing education
  • Clinical preceptor development program
  • Components of VNA Care Network & Hospice's nationally recognized Home Health Registered Nurse Internship and Residency Programs∗

HOW IT WORKS

Registered users can access Home Health & Hospice Resources from virtually any computer with a high speed internet connection. This online approach to professional development can increase productivity and allow a higher degree of flexibility for home health and hospice clinicians and support staff.

The multi-media modules meet the unique educational needs of each user by presenting material as a video with streaming PowerPoint that highlights key points through words and pictures. Users can also read word-for-word text as it is presented.

Each web-based module has controls that are similar to a DVD player; one can skip through chapters, play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind sections, allowing the user to complete the module at their own pace.

The user also completes an evaluation section which provides immediate feedback with a pass or fail grade. If the user passes, a certificate of completion is displayed.

TOOLS FOR SUPERVISORS

Managers and supervisors have additional access allowing them to view their team's test results: dates of completion, module names, user's grades, and the passing grade.
